Shimbly

I worked on a small UX team for a real estate startup to create user flows, wireframes, graphics, and prototypes for user research and development of a home search website. You'll need a password to read more about this project.

Trusted Arms Network

During my UI/UX design internship, I designed for an online marketplace and in-store identity validation ecosystem that aims to promote accountability in firearm sales while protecting users' personal data.

Customiced

With two classmates at the University of Pennsylvania, I designed Customiced, which allows users to design a computer mouse tailored to their hand size, shape, grip preference, comfort, and style.

About Me

Hello, world! I am a UI/UX Designer originally from Omaha, Nebraska, where I studied journalism and media communication. I worked at a local television news station for nearly two years before pursuing a master's degree in computer and information technology at the University of Pennsylvania and working as a front-end dev.

My work in design marries the curious, empathetic, research-driven heart of a journalist with the highly technical, innovative spirit of a geeky coder.

For fun, I enjoy traveling, watching game shows, reading, digital art, and spending time with friends. Personal interests include photography, current events, and volunteering.
